Lets in Kista and Västerås

Klövern AB has signed three long lease contracts in Kista and Västerås. The contract value for the lettings totals SEK 118 million.
In Västerås Klövern has signed a ten-year lease contract with the Finnish company Sarlin and a new seven-year contract with the existing tenant Mälarenergi. Sarlin will rent 4,700 sq.m., consisting of around 3,700 sq.m. of industrial premises and the rest offices, at the property Kryssen 4 on Regattagatan i Västerås. Sarlin, which is engaged in gas and burner technology, and designs, sells and provides service for industrial furnaces, has decided to move the whole of its production to Sweden from 1 May 2012.
The letting to Mälarenergi means that the tenant will remain at its existing premises for another seven years from 1 January 2013. Mälarenergi’s premises are located at the property Gustavsvik 13 on Sjöhagsvägen in Västerås. Of the total space of around 10,000 sq.m., half consists of offices and half of warehouse facilities.
In Kista, Klövern has signed a new seven-year lease contract with Event Design Group consisting of 4,700 sq.m. high warehousing, offices and production at the property Geysir 2, on Österögatan in Kista. The company moves in on 1 March 2012.
“It feels satisfactory that we have signed large contracts with two completely new tenants”, says Klövern’s CEO Rutger Arnhult. “It is similarly pleasing when an existing tenant such as Mälarenergi decides to extend its tenancy and renews its lease contract with us.”
