Closing of the acquisition of Globen City, involving the properties Arenan 2, 3, 6 and 8 in Stockholm, and Startboxen 3 in Solna has taken place today, and possession has been transferred to Klövern.
Total lettable area amounts to approximately 140,000 sq. m. and consists primarily of office space. This acquisition increases Klövern’s exposure to Stockholm substantially, after the transaction the Stockholm Region will account for around 50 per cent of Klövern’s property value.
The acquisition was initially communicated on 24 January in connection with the signing of a letter of intent and was subsequently followed up by an additional press release on 10 March after the signing of a contract to finalize the transaction.
