Klövern signs a lease contract for a major letting in Kista

Klövern has signed a 20-year lease contract with OHB Sweden AB to let 2,855 sq.m. The contract value amounts to around SEK 85 million.

The German company OHB AG Group’s (publ) Swedish subsidiary, OHB Sweden, is moving from Solna to Kista on 1 January 2014. OHB develops, builds, tests and operates satellites for different kinds of space missions within communication, observation and space research. The letting consists of 2,855 sq.m, of which 2,150 sq.m. is offices and 705 sq.m. warehouse space, at the property Gullfoss 5.

“Kista is continuing to attract tenants from other parts of Stockholm. We are extremely satisfied with this development, in the form of a number of major lettings, in our Kista portfolio. OHB Sweden is now also moving to Kista. With this letting, together with the previous letting to CGI, Klövern’s occupancy rate in Kista will increase to 94 per cent. We are continuing to improve our existing properties for new potential tenants”, says Klövern’s CEO Rutger Arnhult.

“We will now be able to further develop our high-tech and innovative operations in very suitable premises. We will undoubtedly be able to find many new partners in the local network of high-tech companies”, says OHB Sweden’s CEO Gierth Olsson.
