Klövern lets to Vectura in Karlstad


The lease has a term of six years and the tenant is expected to move in on 1 February 2010. The premises are located at the property Barkassen 7 at the expansive Kanikenäset in Karlstad. Vectura started on 1 January 2009 and is a merger of the Swedish Road Administration’s (Vägverket) business division Konsult and the Swedish Rail Administration’s (Banverket) Consulting Services. The new premises will enable the merged activities to take place at the same location. Vectura’s operations are concentrated on the transport infrastructure and consist of 1,000 consultants throughout Sweden. Its turnover amounts to SEK 1 billion per year.
“We welcome Vectura as a stable and long-term tenant”, says Klövern’s CEO Gustaf Hermelin and adds that Klövern continues to experience good demand for premises on all markets.

Barkassen 7 is one of five properties owned by Klövern at Kanikenäset in Karlstad. The area is dominated by IT and telecommunications companies. Among Klövern’s current tenants are TeliaSonera and Tieto. The area is developing strongly with a considerable amount of construction of new housing, among other development. A new local plan is being produced.
