Klövern concentrates – sells nine properties
The sale mainly consists of industrial properties with a total area of 110,000 sq.m. located in Fagersta, Katrineholm, Kumla (2), Norberg, Norrköping (2), Sigtuna and Trosa. These properties, which are being sold to the M2 group, are being vacated on 1 November 2007. This sale entails a realised change in value of around SEK 100 million, which will be reported in the last quarter of 2007.
With this sale, Klövern will leave a number of unprioritised locations such as Fagersta, Kumla, Norberg, Sigtuna and Trosa. After the previously announced acquisition of properties in Karlstad and Västerås and today’s sale, the value of the property portfolio will be around SEK 11.2 billion and 99 per cent will be located in Klövern’s ten prioritised markets.
“It is gratifying that Klövern has now achieved its geographical concentration. In the future, focus will be on further development of our prioritised markets, both through investments in the existing portfolio and by new acquisitions”, says Klövern’s CEO Gustaf Hermelin.
