The properties are being acquired in companies and the vendor is the Hanson family. In all, the properties consist of approximately 23,000 sq.m., 7,500 sq.m. of which is retail premises and 6,400 sq.m. offices. The acquisition includes central building rights in Nyköping. The properties will be taken possession of on 15 June 2006. Initial direct yield amounts to around 6.0 per cent and the economic occupancy rate is 84 per cent.
“This acquisition includes a number of central properties in Nyköping which are an excellent complement to our existing portfolio”, says Klövern’s CEO Gustaf Hermelin. “We see a continuing great potential in Nyköping with its access to an international airport at Skavsta, the deep harbour at Oxelösund and with Stockholm only an hour away by car or train.”
With today’s acquisition, Klövern will be a predominant player for commercial premises in Nyköping. After this acquisition, the portfolio in Nyköping will consist of 25 properties totalling approximately 120,000 sq.m. The acquisition does not include Byggnadsfirma Viktor Hanson AB or taking over personnel.
