Jan Maelum Appointed Adcore’s COO

Jan Maelum has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Adcore group. Jan participated in the build-up of Connecta and has been MD of Adcore’s biggest company, Adcore Stockholm, since incorporation. Mr. Maelum was born in 1960 and is a B.Sc. (Econ.). Before joining Connecta in 1995, he was employed by Arthur Andersen, and before that Marketing VP within Datorisering AB. Jan was Connecta’s Deputy MD before being appointed MD of Adcore Stockholm. Accordingly, Adcore’s CEO Göran Wågström will be able to allocate more time to the company’s internationalization and long-term progress.

Sten Wranne has been appointed head of Adcore Sweden, today head of one of Adcore Stockholm’s business areas. He’s 39 years old and has a background with Andersen Consulting before joining Connecta as a strategy consultant in 1995.

To strengthen Adcore’s international co-operation Ulf G. Pettersson, today MD of Adcore Sweden, has been appointed responsible for developing and coordinating Adcore’s operations outside the strategy consulting in Belgium and France, and in Holland and Switzerland. Accordingly, he will be building on the existing foundation in these countries. Ulf was born in 1960. He was previously MD of Information Highway Sweden. Stefanie Lion stays MD of Adcore Holland and Gian-Franco Salvato, presently MD of newly acquired Aseantic, will be the MD of Adcore Switzerland.

Ulf Pettersson has been appointed the new COO of Adcore Germany, and is currently a business area manager within Adcore Stockholm. This change will allow the group to exploit its Swedish experience in Germany, while also enhancing our international exchange of best practices. Jörg Berens will remain CEO of the German operations with special responsibility for corporate growth and development. Ulf was born in 1965 and is a B.Sc. (Econ). He was employed by Siemens Nixdorf and Xerox before joining Adcore in 1998.

Petter Lundgren has been appointed new SVP of Strategic Development, and is currently MD of Adcore’s Strategic Project Management enterprise. Mr. Lundgren was born in 1966, and was previously with Andersen Consulting before joining Connecta in 1997.
