Information Highway develops unique service; Fondex’s customer base doubles

The latest service to be launched on fondex.se is a mutual funds custody service that radically simplifies mutual funds trading. This service was developed by Information Highway.
Commenting on the service, Ola Kellander, Fondex’s Deputy CEO, said: “Bank giro payment advice slips are now a thing of the past. Instead, deals can be executed quickly and efficiently directly on the Internet. The service has been extremely well received and our customer base has doubled in a month! We’re extremely satisfied with Information Highway’s efforts.”
The new Fondex account allows private individuals to process their mutual funds transactions entirely on-line. All a customer needs to do is to transfer money from a bank account to a personal Fondex account. This implies that customers are able to buy and sell the mutual funds units of their choice far more easily than before. Any positive balance in the account earns interest and customers can monitor the performance of their funds at any time.
“The application has been developed in close collaboration with Fondex and shows just how important it is to ensure the integration between business development, design and technology,” said Ola Öhlund, Information Highway’s project manager.
Information Highway also participated in the development of the original Internet service that was launched as early as 1998 and brought all mutual funds together under a single umbrella.
