Higher occupancy rate in Klövern

During the year, Klövern has acquired a number of properties with a high level of vacancies with a view to developing these and increasing the occupancy rate. A couple of large tenants have moved out during the year, which has also had a negative impact on the vacancy situation. Despite this, the occupancy rate is now increasing. Klövern’s CEO considers that this is to a great extent due to the increased focus on letting initiated at the beginning of the year. The goal is for vacancy in comparable portfolios to be halved within three years.

 

“It is very gratifying to see that the concentrated focus has had an effect. I am very optimistic that this will develop into a new trend during the third quarter and not be a one-off effect”, says Klövern’s CEO Gustaf Hermelin and adds that the number of enquiries about premises has also increased.

 

Large new tenants moving in during the third quarter include the educational company FourFront in Karlstad and the John Bauer upper secondary school in Linköping. The new tenants will make the educational premises niche an even larger component in Klövern’s property portfolio.
